2013: Automation of production metering with TALARIX MES software product

The management of the meat processing plant set the tasks that need to be solved using the production logistics system:

• Quality control of incoming raw materials;
• Classification of raw materials for subsequent use depending on their quality and characteristics;
• Increased transparency, formalization of production processes;
• Process control and timely notification of critical deviations;
• Product quality control and timely notification of deviations to take preventive and corrective measures;
• Reduce production costs by determining overspending points;
• The most convenient and simple interface of the program for working online by employees directly in the workshop.

The TALARIX MES information system was selected for implementation. Due to the large amount of work on the project, it was decided to divide it into several stages.

As a result of the successful completion of the project, the management of the enterprise noted the following positive changes:

• Optimization of production processes;
• Increase the efficiency of operations and labor productivity due to constant monitoring of personnel actions;
• Reducing the influence of the human factor - the operator makes a decision only at the level of his competence;
• Reduction of% of thefts;
• Improving product quality through continuous process control;
• Improving the financial results of the enterprise by optimizing the scheme of working with suppliers;
• Control of compliance with legislation, including in terms of veterinary control and traceability of the origin of products;
• Making timely management decisions based on timely and reliable information;
• At 6 control points, 20 workstations (AWS) are automated, at which 10 operators enter information and receive the data necessary for production activities.

After testing and configuration, the TALARIX MES information system was put into commercial operation.
