RUSCLIMAT — one of the most large-scale and dynamically developing formations of the domestic climatic market. Today RUSCLIMAT renders all complex of professional engineering services in the field of design, complete sets, installation, balancing and commissioning, warranty and service maintenance of conditioning systems, ventilation, heating, water supply, the sewerage and water treatment.

RUSCLIMAT is one of the largest operators of dealer sales in Russia today. Now the dealer network contains about 3500 companies. Along with it, RUSCLIMAT has the developed specialized network of retail sales operating in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Astrakhan, Volgograd, Omsk, Togliatti, Rostov-on-Don, Ufa, Saratov, Kaluga, Barnaul, Tyumen, Novosibirsk. Only in the capital the retail network includes 19 shops.

The warehouse complex of RUSCLIMAT company includes the warehouses located in the territory adjacent to the office building and remote warehouses.

The RUSCLIMAT group includes four specialized companies: "RusClimat Comfort", "RusClimat of Vent", the "Termo's RusClimat", "The center of the engineering systems" working in adjacent segments of the climatic market.

"RusClimat Comfort" — sales of goods of household and commercial purpose — from humidifiers and household a Split systems to water heaters and the systems of electric heating; "Termo's RusClimat" — sale, design and service maintenance of heating systems, water supply, the sewerage and water treatment; "RusClimat of Vent" — sale, design and service maintenance of the systems of the central conditioning and ventilation. "The center of the engineering systems" — provision of services by all types project and installation and construction works with accomplishment of functions of the General designer and General contractor.

Each division has specifics of goods and the equipment and own warehouse spaces. Different technologies of storage are applied: pallet and piece rack, rack storage of not dimensions, floor storage (individual and stackable).

In 2006 the RUSCLIMAT company constructed and put into operation a new warehouse of class A with 6-level racks of pallet storage.

For effective management of a warehouse the decision on equipment of a warehouse by a modern information system using radio data collection terminals was made.

For automation of a warehouse the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform was selected. The choice was connected, including, with the fact that the corporate information system of the enterprise works at a technology platform "1C:Enterprise 8". Presence of regular 1C programmers, simplicity of integration and support of a new system by forces of own specialists became important factors.

The openness of the code of the software was one more important requirement without which accomplishment it is impossible to control completely a system and to develop its functionality.

Specialists of the company of CORTES were involved to development of the automated control system for a warehouse.

As a result of joint activity of employees CORTES and RUSCLIMAT the powerful warehouse management system meeting the requirements and business processes of the enterprise was created.

As a pilot project of CORTES the automated control system was started by forces of specialists of Intensive Center in a 4-storeyed warehouse of floor storage. At the same time the paper technology of transfer of orders to storekeepers about actions with goods was used. 2 jobs of managers, places of analysts of department of logistics and department of financial control were automated. Bilateral data exchange in real time with corporate information base is configured.

After successful start of the first warehouse a system using data collection terminals in a new warehouse of class A was put into operation. Jobs of 2 managers, the analyst of a warehouse, the warehouse supervisor, 12 storekeepers with the shipping documentation are automated. At implementation features of a warehouse and storage goods were considered and implemented:

joint pallet and piece storage special rules of placement of oversized and heavy goods automatic task allocation on the used equipment (carts, pilers, the richtraki) sharing of pallets of different types (EUR, FIN)

As a result of application of an automated system the high speed of acceptance and placement of goods on storage, fast and exact processing of requests for shipment of goods from a warehouse is reached.

A common information space of warehouses and corporate system allows to trace easily and quickly all stages of the movement of goods – from the supplier order before transfer of goods to the client.

In the course of joint work by CORTES experts of knowledge and technologies for projects of automation of warehouses were transferred to specialists of RUSCLIMAT company, and further the warehouse management system was spread successfully around on other warehouses RUSCLIMAT by forces of own specialists.
