Intelligent accounting system RusHydro has migrated to. MegaFon cloud It covers 1.2 million smart electricity monitoring devices that automatically transmit energy consumption readings. This was MegaFon announced on March 5, 2026.

The companies entered into an agreement under which a large-scale intelligent electricity metering system (ISU) is transferred to the operator for maintenance. The Internet of Things (IoT) has already been introduced into the circuit of 12 energy sales and network organizations in different regions of Russia.

Remote service greatly simplifies and speeds up interaction: it allows you to receive information on the volume of consumption in your personal account, increase payment discipline and reduce electricity losses. By the end of 2030, the number of devices in the cloud will increase by 75% and exceed two million. Thus, the project will become one of the largest smart energy accounting solutions in Russia.

The technological basis of the ISU is software "Pyramid 2.0" deployed in the MegaFon cloud. The operator provides fault tolerance and multi-level redundancy data in three geographically distributed DPCs levels Tier III. For information protection use, a role-based access model is used, and all events are transmitted to the corporate center of the energy company - this guarantees compliance with industry safety standards and the safety of personal data.
