RusHydro will implement mobile services for power consumers

In 2015 RusHydro will implement mobile services for subscribers based on the USSD interface which main objective will be an operational problem solving, connected with power supply payment of services.

A functional project orderer is the Power Supply Company RusHydro holding ("ESK RusHydro") servicing more than 2.7 million household subscribers and over 92 thousand legal entities.

In the project documentation published in November, 2014 it is noted that in connection with the extensive territory of service, a large number of subscribers have difficulties in obtaining operational information about debt on the personal account, a relevant electricity rate and also experiences difficulties with transfer of indications of metering devices of the electric power.

Composition. ISP - an information system of structural divisions of ESK RusHydro

New service should provide electronic information exchange between consumers of services of power supply, regardless of their territory of stay and remoteness from offices of calculation and payment of services of power supply, and ESK RusHydro by means of USSD requests from the mobile phone, said in the project documentation.

Subscribers, in particular, will be able quickly to transmit indications of the individual metering device of the electric power through USSD commands, to learn debt on payment of the electric power and also to request the relevant electricity rate operating in the region.

Besides, subscribers will be able to order a call back of the call center operator of ESK RusHydro for the solution of the arisen questions connected with power supply and payment of the electric power. In addition to convenience directly to subscribers, at the expense of mobile service "ESK RusHydro" also expects to update the database of indications of metering devices of the electric power.
