Rusagrotrans implemented a new management system

The Rusagrotrans company, the infrastructure railway operator in the field of transportation of grain loads, in cooperation with IBS and SIAM Consulting companies completed the project in the field of improvement of mechanisms of management. A framework of the project covered the following directions: project management, business process management, the analysis of activity of the enterprise, quality management, corporate management and interaction with branches, representations and child dependent societies.

During the project consultants created electronic business process models which are integrated into the general electronic business model of the company, the packet of regulations of business processes, regulations on divisions, job descriptions of all specialists is prepared. Allows to receive the special software solution in the automatic mode and further to update all the organizational regulating documentation. Increase in efficiency and transparency of the made decisions, elimination of duplication of the functions executed by personnel of the company became an important result of the project.

"We created an application program package for the environment of modeling of ARIS. He allows not only to receive a set of corporate documentation on the basis of electronic business process models, but gives the chance to carry out the detailed analysis of completeness and correctness of representation in models, both structures of business processes of the company, and documentary flows corresponding to them", - Savich Alexander, the project manager from IBS company notes.

"This project was very important for our quite young and high-growth company. Desire of the management already at a stage of formation of business was first-priority to implement a single system and standards for increase in management efficiency on which we could rely both now, and in the future – when business of the company becomes even more diversified", - the director of the department of corporate management of Rusagrotrans Ltd Elena Andreyeva says.

The big block of works was devoted to development of the corporate standard of project management and project portfolios of Rusagrotrans Ltd. Use at its formation of the process approach allowed to regulate strictly activities for project management, accurate to differentiate and record responsibility of divisions and specific participants of project management. Since the top level up to the level of contractors, business process models of project management of Rusagrotrans Ltd were developed and recorded. Activities for project management were harmoniously integrated into the general business model of the company. Based on this project specialists of IBS together with top managers of Rusagrotrans Ltd prepare article which is published in No. 4 of the "Upravleniye Proyektami I Programmami" magazine and the report on the International congress on project management of IPMA which passed in November, 2010 in Istanbul.

All works were performed in 9 months.
