The warehouse of Ruskhimbio company (RUSNANO), is automated based on "1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse"

In the warehouse "Ruskhimbio" the wide range of high-quality products of the Russian producers is provided. In total on the area of 200 sq.m. about 7,500 names of chemical and biochemical reactants are at the same time stored, and the absolute majority of them is presented in the single copy. Each reactant is packed into a glass container of small volume with the label on which the name of contents is in Latin written. For simplification of identification of such quantity of similar positions and acceleration of selection of goods the management Ruskhimbio made the decision on implementation of WMS – the automated control system for a warehouse. The organization of address storage, accomplishment of automatic placement of goods according to the set rules and formation of tasks for its selection were among project tasks.

Having studied the market of WMS, Ruskhimbio made a choice for benefit of "1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 3.0", joint product of 1C Company and AXELOT company. As the standard option of a system almost completely met requirements of the warehouse "Ruskhimbio", the company made the decision on independent implementation with participation of specialists of AXELOT at the initial stage of the project.

In 8 days the project team of AXELOT slightly finished functionality "1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 3.0" according to features of tekhnologicheskikhprotsess of the client, performed parametrical tuning of a system for a part of a warehouse and provided user training. Setup of a system for work with the goods which are stored in refrigerating premises, specialists of Ruskhimbio executed already independently. During the project integration "1C Logistics was also made: Management of warehouse 3.0" about "1C: Trade Management 8".

In a project deliverable the speed of selection increased and the quantity of errors at its accomplishment was reduced. Placement of goods is executed taking into account requirements to storage conditions of substances; at selection their expiration dates are considered. The warehouse is completely ready for processing of goods on technology of automatic identification.

Since May, 2010 work of the automated warehouse system is supported by forces of Ruskhimbio. Ruskhimbio and AXELOT companies are satisfied with project deliverables. Operational management of a warehouse with the help "1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 3.0" became additional competitive advantage of Ruskhimbio.

The RUSKHIMBIO infrastructure project of the Russian Nanotechnology Corporation State Corporation (RUSNANO) is directed to problem solving for increase in efficiency of activity of the Russian science and the producers working in the field of high technologies, including nanotechnologies.
