Russian Energy Agency (REA) (IT outsourcing)

At the end July, 2010 the IT ENERGY company announced signing of the contract on outsourcing IT service with the Russian Energy Agency (REA), the subordinated organization of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. Within the contract IT ENERGY not only will ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure and user support of REA, but also will act as subcontractor of the agency on ensuring technical support of staff of the Ministry of Energy. The contract became result of a victory of IT ENERGY at the auction which for the first time is carried out by the customer on open marketplace.

Under the contract specialists of IT ENERGY will render a full range of services in technical maintenance of activity of two government institutions — REA and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation: from administration of the server hardware and the system software, maintenance of corporate data networks and ensuring smooth operation of information infrastructure before support of jobs of staff of the organizations (service of service Helpdesk) and technical maintenance of actions of the customer, including VIP-level actions.

All equipment of information infrastructure of REA will be placed based on a modern data processing center Kitay-gorod of IT ENERGY company. Located in close proximity to the customer, the DPC of IT ENERGY represents the highly reliable computer system meeting all modern requirements for the level of availability and security.
