2021: Switch to electronic document exchange with counterparties and buyers

On February 17, 2021, the Director company announced that the Russian Fish Company (RRK), a Russian supplier of fish and seafood, refused to paper exchange of documents with buyers. From January 1, 2021, the company transfers to counterparties electronic UPD, UKD, TORG-2 and reconciliation acts.

Digital transformation in the RRC started back in 2017. Then projects were launched to develop the Fish.Digital electronic platform and active sales systems. Their goal is to automate and improve customer interaction with the supplier, as well as expand the customer base in all cities of presence.

With the growth of the company, the annual turnover of outgoing documents reached 180,000 copies. In order to get rid of the costs of sending originals by mail, courier delivery and accelerate the process of processing documents, the Russian Fish Company in 2020 decided to switch to EDO with counterparties.

The Synerdocs service was selected for several reasons:

• complete the full cycle of tasks: integration, implementation, connection of counterparties, support of the company throughout the entire cooperation period.

The refusal of the Russian Fish Company from paper UPD, UKD, TORG-2 and reconciliation acts took place in two stages.

• 1. Testing of the finished 1C integration module and customization of the standard Synerdocs solution to the needs and specifics of RRK activities.
• 2. Connect counterparties and set up roaming.

Also, from January 1, 2021, the RRK started electronic document exchange with buyers. The plans are to continue the course towards digitalization, including considering the rejection of paper in cooperation with suppliers and the transition to electronic consignment notes in the logistics department.
