2020: Completion of setup of a cloud service "Korus: Inventory management"
On March 19, 2020 Corus Consulting Group announced completion of setup of a cloud service "Korus: Inventory management" for retail network "Russian Plumbing Fixtures". In total in a month the retailer cardinally rebuilt processes of management of purchases so stocks in warehouses decreased by 20%. The released current assets will allow to perform further development of network more effectively.
Management of a product line – a difficult task for the retail company with thousands of goods items. In the manual mode such management often leads to two extremes: underdeliveries or, on the contrary, to overstocking of warehouses. It, in turn, bears risks of the missed sales and inefficient use of current assets.
The company management Russian Plumbing fixtures thought of control automation long ago orders as the analysis and calculation of the order for a large number of the nomenclature took a lot of time. It was necessary to accelerate and optimize process. For these purposes the company management selected the solution "KORUS: Inventory management".
"KORUS: Inventory management" – a cloud service which is integrated with the accounting system of the company and allows to reveal seasonality of demand and its main trends on the basis of historical data on purchases. On the basis of these trends service creates the most optimal plan of orders and deliveries. Its use reduces illiquid stocks in warehouses by 40% and increases sales on average by 20% due to existence of those positions on which there is greatest demand. On average the turnover of the warehouses managed based on the solution doubles, and service of orders happens 14 times quicker.
As all positions manually could not be analyzed, earlier at us many errors turned out. Warehouses of the company grew, as well as costs for their service, and there was nothing to sell at the same time. Besides we buried large current assets in stocks. All this situation forced us to review approach to inventory management cardinally. Use of service 'KORUS: Inventory management' gave very fast and notable effect.
