Russian Railways (RR) (Projects of creation of complex IT infrastructure)

On July 10, 2013 the Smartengineering group announced completion of complex upgrade of a system of informing passengers of the railway station in Vladivostok by request of the Russian Railway.

Before Smartengineering there was a problem of upgrade of a system of informing passengers without breaks in work of a station complex.

Project Results

In the project progress, executed Smartengineering:

• design and selection of the equipment of a single system of informing passengers (including the electronic system of visual informing based on the equipment FUNKWERK, the system of sound informing, the system of master clock system and static navigation);
• delivery, installation and commissioning of an electronic system of visual informing passengers based on the equipment FUNKWERK;
• delivery, installation and commissioning of a system of sound informing passengers;
• delivery, installation and commissioning of a system of master clock system;
• delivery and installation of a system of static navigation according to requirements of the Russian Railway;
• integration of the implemented complexes into a single system of informing passengers;
• personnel training of the station to work with a single system of informing passengers;
• personnel training of the station to skills of diagnostics, maintenance and repair of components of a single system of informing passengers.

The project of reconstruction of a system of informing at the Kursk station of Moscow

On September 20, 2013 the Smartengineering group announced completion of complex upgrade of a system of informing passengers of the Kursk station of Moscow by request of JSC "Russian Railways".

Project Tasks

JSC RZD was required to carry out reconstruction of a system of informing the Kursk station of Moscow.

Project Progress

Within the project the Smartengineering group mounted 5 videowalls of production of NEC company for an output to them:

• schedules of arrival, departure, transit of long distance trains;
• schedules of local trains of the Gorky and Kursk directions;
• information on local trains of the Kursk, Smolensk, Riga and Gorky directions;
• layout charts of stopping points;
• information on changes in the schedule.

Project Results

The Kursk station of Moscow is equipped with the system of informing with smaller energy consumption and big lifecycle, working 24/7. It is set to software for maintaining the change history of the schedule in standard formats of databases and displays of the schedule on the mounted videowalls in the building of the Kursk station.

Integration with the IKSB system of the station allowing to use at emergence of emergency videowalls as the additional warning system with an output of the relevant video information is carried out.
