In October, 2010 at the Infotrans of 2010 conference the deputy chief of Department of corporate informatization of JSC "Russian Railways" Vadim Moskalenko, telling about the solution of a problem of automation of budgeting, accurately defined that technology standards of holding in the field of BI (Business Intelligence) are two brands – SAS EIP and SAP BW. The problematical character of implementation of platforms of other vendors consists, first of all, in absence at them the sufficient industry expertize necessary for the solution of difficult and major problems of JSC "Russian Railways" (it is enough to mention that users of SAS BI in JSC "Russian Railways" are more than 5 thousand employees).
