2020: Implementation of intellectual video surveillance

On October 5, 2020 the Transtelecom company, federal provider of digital services and JSC Russian Railways affiliated enterprise, announced development and deployment on a number of transport objects technology of intellectual video surveillance. Possibilities of video analytics can be applied to control of production processes, operability of the equipment, observance of the security regulation and other parameters.

At the heart of technology of intellectual video surveillance – the software created based on neuronets. The information stream, received from cameras, in real time is analyzed in a data processing center. A system is capable to find and distinguish objects or people, to monitor their movements and to fix time of their actions and also to predict events on the basis of data retrieveds. Possibilities of video analytics do possible its application on any transport, construction, production and other facilities. At the request of the customer a system can be customized on tracking of specific parameters of the image, for example, runtime of certain technology transactions, distance between objects, etc.

Use of a system of video analytics on the basis of artificial intelligence – an efficient method of control of observance of production processes. At the same time the technology minimizes load of the person, removes need for constant visual inspection, so promotes reduction of frequency of contacts between workers, - the Head of Department of federal projects of JSC Transtelecom Company Sergey Obidovsky commented.
