2022: Implementation of a solution for the management and development of personnel serving Sapsan high-speed trains
The company, Imredi a resident of Skolkovo"," together with "," Infocomm deployed a solution for the management and development of personnel serving high-speed trains "Sapsan" - Directorate of High-Speed Communication (DOSS) a branch of OJSC "." RUSSIAN RAILWAY On the basis of the Imredi platform information , the management system of the Directorate has been expanded in terms of collecting, data calculating indicators and assessing the effectiveness of employees of train and locomotive crews. This was announced by Imredi on November 9, 2022. Through the information system visualization , performance indicators are available for each employee serving DOSS trains.
The project was implemented thanks to the corporate program of Russian Railways - in December 2020, the Imredi digital platform passed a competitive selection and became a finalist. It was chosen to digitalize the management and development of personnel of the High-Speed Communications Directorate. The goals of the project were to build a system for analyzing, visualizing, assessing the work and development of train and locomotive crew personnel, increasing their involvement and interest.
Imredi's digital platform capabilities help shape and visualize individual and group KPIs for train and locomotive crew personnel and adjust their performance. During the project, the capabilities of the information system for managing the operational and passenger work of the Directorate were expanded, work was set up with 30 indicators of locomotive crew employees and 5 key criteria for conductors. For key criteria of conductors, a 3-party assessment is made on 17 issues, which is then reduced to a single KPI. As a result, each employee had an individual rating and KPI indicators.
The use of a system of indicators and data directly from workplaces, as well as indicators from related information systems, allows you to conduct a comprehensive assessment of employees based on objective criteria. As a result, it became easier for managers to evaluate the work of subordinates, see growth points, and quickly set tasks for them and control implementation.
Managers have the opportunity to see consolidated analytics to assess and analyze the performance of DOSS train and locomotive crews, including tracking the personal metrics of each employee and ensuring direct motivation. All this makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the processes of control, motivation and development of personnel.
Increasing the involvement and interest of train and locomotive crew personnel in obtaining a high reference rating leads to an increase in the quality of service and creates favorable conditions for passengers to choose high-grade trains for subsequent trips.
Calculation and visualization of employee performance indicators - from conductor to driver - is carried out automatically. The company added gamification elements and connected command and instructor personnel to the system, including train chiefs, instructors and mentors. They can clearly see and ensure control and monitoring of personnel processes and performance indicators. At the same time, the employees themselves can see their ratings and rating, as well as the rating of the team and columns. It is important that the team and instructor personnel, based on statistics and analytical reports, can form tasks for the development of personnel. Thus, these tools are designed to improve the work of service personnel, and as a result - to improve the quality of operation and the level of service for passengers of high-speed trains, noted Alexey Manakhov, head of the informatization department of the Directorate of High-Speed Communication of Russian Railways.

During the project with Russian Railways, the company used the capabilities of the solution to modify the business process management system of Russian Railways and, in turn, thanks to Russian Railways, we expanded our own expertise in the tasks of managing KPI, developing skills and motivating personnel. The project with Russian Railways is a practical example of the implementation of the difficult task of digital transformation, which turned out to be possible thanks to a clear understanding of the approach to solving the problem both from the business customer and from the help of the IT block of Russian Railways, said Petr Borisov, CEO of Imredi.
