VBRR improved incident management using SafeInspect

The New Security Technologies (NST) company — the Russian software developer for increasing the level of security of information systems and management of critical IT infrastructure — announced in August, 2016 system implementation of control of privileged users of SafeInspect in the Russian Regional Development Bank (RRDB).

During the course of performance routine operations on management of privileged users the Bank looked for solutions of the following tasks:

• Implement workflow of the personified access to exclusive accounts to the specific systems, on the set period, with accurate justification of need and the required number of approvals;
• Perform identification of privileged users and separation into safety zones;
• Monitor accomplishment of given commands in real time;
• In real time to control exclusive sessions with a possibility of interruption in case of need;
• Write information on exclusive sessions in the .avi format or/and in a text format in case of work from the command line;
• Perform effective search in the analysis of records of exclusive sessions in the course of investigations.

Having revealed need for optimization of data protection and incident management, the Russian Regional Development Bank found the additional solution for control of activity of administrators. The company carried out the analysis where products on session management of privileged users of several suppliers were estimated. Having studied in detail and having tested solutions, available in the market, specialists of bank stopped on the domestic solution SafeInspect of NTB company which provides the necessary level of protection, a combination of the developed functionality and optimal price relation and qualities.

During pilot testing at the Customer the functionality of a control system of privileged users of SafeInspect was checked and approved. It is proved that the solution allows to close a circle of problems on control and access control to exclusive accounts and effectively solves all range of the tasks facing the Customer.

According to the results of testing the Bank confirmed that all stated functionality of the SafeInspect system works correctly, steadily, without "hangups" and completely conforms to all stated requirements.
