Bank Russian Standard introduced Smart ID Engine technology to recognize passports, accelerating the issuance of loans. This was announced by Smart Engines on January 15, 2021.

Bank Russian The Standard introduced Smart ID Engine passport recognition technology to accelerate the process of issuing consumer loans. Smart ID Engine is already used to recognize passport data customers in several bank offices. The introduction of the solution into the information system allowed Bank Russian Standard to accelerate the processing of consumer loans in branches and reduce the influence of the human factor when entering customer passport data.

After the introduction of Smart ID Engine technology, when registering a new client in the banking system or when servicing an existing client in an office, it is enough for the operator to photograph the client's passport with a webcam. Smart ID Engine automatically retrieves all necessary document data, and then it is automatically entered into the corresponding fields of the Bank's information system. At the same time, the previously stored data is compared with the recognized data, which makes it possible to eliminate inaccuracies in the basepersonal customer data.

The technology is developed by Smart Engines. The delivery and integration of the solution into the bank's information system was performed by NVI Solutions, which specializes in the sale of software products for industrial customers in Russia and abroad.
