The Russian academy of justice automates work of selection committee

The First BIT company completed automation of the sixth selection committee of the Russian Academy of Justice with the help of the solution BITS: Selection committee, the press service of the company reported on July 5, 2013.

Achievements

The carried-out implementation:

• information processing rate on entrants is increased
• online access to data, their processing in real time is provided
• drawing up lists and sheets, necessary for work of selection committee, is automated
• data processing rate at enrollment of students in 2013 significantly increased.

The first entrant

In May, 2008 the first statement of the entrant is adopted. Earlier selection committee conducted calculations manually that gave a lot of inconvenience, repeatedly increased operating time and resulted in a large number of errors. Implementing solution succeeded to avoid the existing problems and to optimize workflow. The most important – reliability and reliability of the data fixed in a system considerably increased.

In 2013 the sixth selection committee together with 1C began to work.

Yershov Valentin Valentinovich, the rector of RAP, noted: "The automated system created by specialists of the First BIT for selection committee allowed us to get rid of the large volume of mechanical work which was performed manually earlier. Information processing rate on entrants increased. Online access to data, their processing in real time is provided. As a result we managed to optimize information on entrants and to facilitate data retrieval due to storage of all necessary information in uniform base. Drawing up lists and sheets, necessary for work of selection committee, is automated that allowed to accelerate considerably data processing at acceptance of new students this year".
