Content

On November 2, 2015 the Technoserv Consulting company announced completion of IT audit by request of "The Russian of forest group"[1].

Project Tasks

As a part of holding 10 companies, in each of which a unique IT landscape work. A part of processes in group is automated. To continue to develop business improving its controllability, the management of holding set the task - to unify business processes. IT audit in scales of all holding became a milestone in implementation of this task. Complex IT audit in "The Russian forest group" was entrusted a command Technoserv Consulting.

Project Progress

Consultants Technoserv Consulting inspected more than 30 key business processes in the field of production, managements, sales and transportation at the enterprises of "The Russian of forest group". The IT landscape of holding underwent in-depth examination. The project team obtained a relevant picture of a status of an IT environment and its compliance to business challenges and the strategy of the customer.

Consultants could reveal the "strong" and "weak" parties of the existing automation in holding and each enterprise separately. For each enterprise of group the assessment of all elements of IT infrastructure is carried out:

  • basic infrastructure services,
  • hardware and software,
  • information security,
  • data networks and telephony.

Experts analyzed compliance of components to the operating international standards of management of IT. At this stage of IT audit reserves for expense optimization on support of IT assets of group in ensuring timely and sustainable development of the enterprises are revealed.

Project Results

In a project deliverable experts Technoserv Consulting created a number of the initiatives directed to creation of the integrated IT system of management within all holding. In particular, consultants recommended development of IT strategy, the innovation approach to implementation of a number of IT systems, offered ways of upgrade of management of IT, improvement of processes of IT and information security.
