"Systems and Projects" automated activity of RTRS

The Systems and Projects group implemented an automated system on Federal State Unitary Enterprise Russian Television and Broadcasting Network (RTRS). The solution is intended for information support of construction of facilities of the second multiplex. A system is developed in 400 workplaces in 83 regions of the country where installation and equipment checkout for ensuring digital broadcasting is now conducted.

The functionality includes maintaining the register of objects, formation of a digital library of documentation, maintaining calendar scheduled plans of works. Besides, the automated control of correctness of document creation, the notification of concerned parties about readiness of a set of documents and an object for acceptance or operation, report generation on control of achievement of indicators is provided. A system covers project, working, executive and also financial documentation. More than 20 business processes connected with creation of network of the second multiplex are automated. At an implementation stage data from AIF "FTP" – a corporate resource where data on objects and documents of the first multiplex are stored were converted into a system.

"The information system is designed to increase efficiency of interaction between our structural divisions and the general contractor", – Yury Skobelev, the director of the department of development of networks of digital on-air TV and radio broadcasting of RTRS emphasized. "Start of the second multiplex is a project of federal importance. And, of course, to us it is important that processes of documentary management were built most effectively, with ensuring information transparency of all actions and safety of data".

"In work flow on the project the administrative regulations of interaction of all participants of creation of network were worked out", – Anton Burlakov, the head of department of the applied systems of Department of information technologies of RTRS reported. "A system provides the automated support of the developed regulations and allows to obtain quickly information on a status of works on creation of network of the second multiplex – as in general according to the program, and on the interesting section of works or the responsible".
