Exposure of Rusvil Ltd, 2010

The plant's management addressed to Information Science and Service company - it offered two ways of solving the task:

  • purchase the new physical server and transfer all users to the terminal mode
  • place the virtual server with cloud provider of "Cloud Computing".

In the first case purchase costs of "iron" for the new server, the operating system and connection of each user (in the company of 20 people), could reach 209 thousand rubles. In the second case - regular payments in the amount of 6.2 thousand rubles a month.

Oblakoteki services operate on the Microsoft Hyper-V platform and are controlled a stack of the products Microsoft System Center and the system of self-service Azure Pack. The platform is configured and optimized on placement of a core of IT infrastructures of SMB companies and guest operating systems on the Microsoft Windows Server platform, first of all for placement of different versions 1C, there is a special set of services and settings which and is called "1C Platform".

Project Progress

"We understood that the cloud is significantly more profitable than deployment of IT infrastructure, in our case of 1C, at office — Alexander Apletov, the deputy CEO of Rusvil noted. — Therefore made the decision to deploy virtual server 1C in Oblakoteka, thereby having integrated all IT resources necessary for us in one place and having got rid of unnecessary duplication and integration. Besides, failure from "iron" allowed us to save on the electric power and maintenance".

Project Results

"Information science and Service" created the virtual server in Oblakoteka, carried out on it migration of 1C, transferred all users to the terminal mode, configured automatic backup. Are brought into accord of the software license. Need of synchronization between offices is excluded, and Rusvil got a fast and stable program runtime of 1C.
