Content

"SGB bank" carried out implementation EDMS DIRECTUM in 2007, the press service of vendor reported on August 28, 2013. Since then the number of users reached more than 750 people, processes of access to data assets and approvals of invoices for payment are automated.

Project Results

Interaction of all divisions of bank is performed with the help EDMS DIRECTUM. In 2007 all main business processes of bank connected with orders, orders and also the entering / outgoing correspondence are transferred to an electronic form. Process of management of meetings is automated. Implementation DIRECTUM helped to create a common information space, to optimize the movement of documents and to transfer internal business processes to qualitatively new level.

"Active inclusion of employees in work in DIRECTUM and effect which we gained at once after implementation is considerable reduction of turnover of paper documents, acceleration of rates of work with them – induced us to further development of a system, – Vladimir Semyonov, the vice chairman of the board on IT noted. – It was important to us to perform integration of DIRECTUM with the existing system of bank, to automate process of access to data assets and process of approval of invoices for payment. We decided to implement new tasks by own forces, in the minimum degree involving specialists of DIRECTUM".

Project Development

To increase the processing speed of finance documents and it is simpler to make processes of approval and is more transparent, specialists of SGB Bank developed the special solution. Thanks to it process of approval of invoices for payment is automated, all stages of works with accounts are controlled, the timeliness of payment is checked.

From the moment of system implementation the number of licenses is increased three times, in a system more than 750 people, including the top management work. Updating of versions with 4.7. to 4.9. increased high-speed performance of a system, including the web client. And integration of DIRECTUM with the existing system of bank on the Oracle platform allows to accelerate data processing, to increase the speed of obtaining reports.

A system continues to develop actively, in further plans also now – the organization of work of heads of SGB Bank with the DIRECTUM system via tablets based on iOS and Windows.

2014: Replacement of the version of software

On June 18, 2014 SGB Bank announced transition to the new version of the DIRECTUM 5.0 system.

This transition supposes to increase high-speed performance of a system as a desktop client, at the expense of the optimized service of file storages, and the web client, having in passing expanded its functionality regarding signing of documents EDS, transparent editing, etc.
