SIBUR Caprolactam (DPC)

Within the program of development of SIBUR Neftekhim holding start of new business applications was planned. Implementation of these purposes required upgrade of a data processing center of the plant. Server premises in which the equipment was placed earlier did not meet the stated standards of operation.

The Kaprolaktam plant (produces chlorine, a caustic soda, PVC-pitch, PVC-plastic compounds, hydrochloric acids, etilenkhlorgidrin, a dichloroethane, brake and cooling liquids, etc.) is in Dzerzhinsk (Nizhny Novgorod Region). Now the plant enters SIBUR holding.

As the contractor of the project the SONET company which specialists have practical experience and necessary competences in the field was selected.

Within the project the following systems were created:

• Structured cabling system – the 6th category – Molex of PN
• Electrical distribution network based on the equipment Legrand
• The system of the guaranteed power supply is APC Symmetra
• The conditioning system is Daikin
• The control system of access is Perco
• The system of digital video surveillance based on the equipment Vivotek.

As a result of implementation of the project the customer received a productive, scalable, reliable and safe data processing center. As DPC in general – the difficult engineering product, the compulsory provision of its continuous work is regular service maintenance of subsystems. Therefore Sonet, provides a full service support of the subsystems installed as a part of DPC, undertaking cares of maintenance them in operating state on all service life.
