2020: Expansion of customer service using the Data Science tools

On August 28, 2020 the Sibur holding announced that it expands customer service using the Data Science tools.

Using the analysis of Big Data on all production chain, from production before its further processing out of a circuit of the company, Sibur will help to improve product quality which make the companies clients.

Sibur develops several years the direction of advanced analytics. The company collects and study parameters of the technology modes on production: temperature, pressure, amount of raw materials – and data for business processes: quotations on products, exchange reports, external market factors. Data collection happens based on the ML platform in the center of analytics "the SIBUR Didzhital". On the basis of data analysis specialists create the self-training recommendatory systems and decision making support systems. Digital instruments help to predict unplanned stops, to optimize the technology modes for cost reduction, to increase quality and to increase outputs, to predict products cost in the main markets.

Now tools of advanced analytics became available also to clients of the SIBUR.

Sibur already solved several cases based on an end-to-end chain of data of the producer and client, on the Tomsk platform of the company. It helped to exclude completely emergence of defects on production of the client.
