SOMIATs Sakhalin areas implemented technologies of a video conferencing

On April 12, 2017 the LANIT-PARTNER company announced upgrade of a system of teleconference communication for a health care system of the Sakhalin region.

Project Results

The system of telepresence is implemented using the operating devices for access to video conferences. It is created on the equipment and the software of Cisco, and its work relies on Cisco Collaboration technology.

The Sakhalin regional medical information and analytical center had not to purchase the equipment for access to conferences – upgrade is carried out due to updating of program services and services.

At the beginning of the project of GBUZ SOMIATs had at the disposal of the video conferencing device, the conference room, a limited number of conferees and a possibility of video conference only from specialized devices (codecs). On completion of upgrade the customer received practically all range of developments of Cisco in a segment of unified communications.

The implemented technologies help to organize a conference on 40 participants connected from any devices, including smartphones and tablets. The possibility of video calls to other medical organizations (b2b), connection to a conference on the IP telephony protocols (including from landline phones), integration with the existing systems, demonstrations to conferees of the screen of the computer, creation up to 25 simultaneous conferences, planning of conferences with an autocall, the organizations of web conferences is organized. The Cisco technology allows to exchange files, to send voice messages, to create chats.

Within the project specialists of the contractor within ten days installed two servers, turned more than 20 virtual machines, configured and integrated eight electronic services Cisco: Unified Communications Manager, Webex, Presence, Mobile Remote Access, B2B Networking, Telepresence Server, Conductor, Telepresence Management Suite (PE). Services of telepresence provide communication on encrypted links.

the Video conferencing for the field of medicine – an incentive to improvement of quality of delivery of health care due to connection of qualified specialists in remote organizations and localities. In a short space of time without breaks in service regeneration of the software with connection of the corresponding infrastructure was made. Health facilities got access to consultations of the qualified specialists of narrow orientation who are in the large cities and the regional center.

Use of modern technologies of unified communications helped to build a flexible and reliable solution of telemedicine for the state customer without the need for updating of access devices to video conference. The broad spectrum of services of unified communications Cisco, means of scaling and convenient management tools gave opportunities for quality improvement of service of patients and efficiency of decision making.
