Large Russian developer - SPb Renovation company - selected the PSS engineering and consulting company as the strategic partner in a number of functions for implementation of technology of information modeling of buildings and constructions on the basis of the uniform BIM standard from the Russian and foreign engineering firms. Besides, experts of PSS take part in creation of information models of the first projects SPb Renovation among which there are residential quarters of "Sangdei" in the Pine Glade and "Gutenborg" in Nevsky district.

The step-by-step strategy of use of information modeling throughout lifecycle of an object – from design before operation was as a result created. This strategy is the forming document and the primary source necessary for the coordinated work of a big separate ecosystem of project participants, and consists of three parts. The first is the technical strategy describing creation of BIM data, their statement, exchange, the analysis, the reporting and use. The second part contains the strategy of management of a commercial part, regulates carrying out selection, standards of agreements, responsibility, the intellectual property rights. The third represents a training strategy and includes standards of control and certification.

Further on the basis of Strategy "SPb Renovation" by own forces developed the specific regulating documents and created the templates adapted to local Russian conditions. These documents integrated under one Standard – Information requirements of the Customer (CIR).

The BIM technology on the basis of the uniform Standard allows "to SPb Renovation" to receive, process and manage the complex approved information, to reduce terms and cost of design and construction and also to provide information support and works monitoring by the distributed group of contractors. Such approach allows to estimate effectively the cost of works, to control diagrams of construction and to use the electronic passport of an object at operation. Besides, thanks to check on a collision and to other automated verifications it was succeeded to increase quality of design significantly.

In particular, PSS prepared information models on the Sangdei project executed still in 2D and executes support of the designer of road infrastructure in the territory of "Gutenborg".
