2024: Implementation of Production Management Platform

Industrial integrator UltimaTek acted as a supplier of a digital platform for production management and launched projects to implement solutions based on it for enterprises of SUEK-Kuzbass JSC. UltimaTek announced this on April 24, 2024.

SUEK has chosen a platform for managing the production of ZIIoT (developed by the Digital Group of Companies) to develop its own MES applications. The distributor of the digital solution was the industrial integrator UltimaTek.

At the end of 2023, a large regional site - SUEK-Kuzbass JSC - began testing the selected solution. The first application service that was deployed on the platform was the Zyfra Quality Lab (ZQL) laboratory information management system. The second stage at the sites of SUEK-Kuzbass JSC will introduce modules of a complex of digital solutions for managing the production of ZIAK. These included resource allocation control and material balances, production dispatching, control, analytics and others. All products were developed by the Russian vendor and one of UltimaTek's strategic partners - Zyfra Group of Companies.

Each SUEK company is unique. Therefore, the implementation and configuration of IT products at such facilities requires a meticulous immersion in the specifics of each site. The implementation of this project is carried out with the integrated participation of IT and APCS specialists of SUEK and regional representative offices of the company, as well as with a high share of the involvement of the production unit. UltimaTech helped lay the foundation that will further develop the competence of developing services on the digital platform ZIIOT among integrators. SUEK has chosen an effective project management model for creating a digital corporate platform: production will continue to independently select the performers who will develop the necessary digital services at ZIIOT, - said Pavel Rastopshin, General Director of UltimaTek Group.

For SUEK, the development of a single production MES platform is a strategically important project. On the basis of the Digital Industrial Platform, using individual services, as well as historical and online data, we plan to build production process control systems (MES, MOM), monitoring and control systems for processes and equipment status (vibration monitoring, IoT solutions), quality control systems (LIMS), planning, forecasting systems, production dashboards and KPI systems, virtual analyzers and recommendation systems, predictive analytics tools, dispatch centers.

However, our task is not to "rewrite" all possible production systems to the selected platform. The most efficient work with accumulated data and building "end-to-end" control chains "from production to client" - can only ensure the construction of an optimal multi-platform ecosystem that will allow you to flexibly embed and use various applications and tools for processing and managing data based on the microservice architecture of the platform. This approach minimizes the cost of building a corporate production platform and maximizes the use of previously developed solutions and tools, "said Irina Vlasova, director of automation and digitalization at SUEK JSC.

The introduction of a domestic digital platform ensures production management at the highest level. This is not only a tool for aggregating and storing data from any source, but also the foundation for the prompt and seamless integration of industry business applications that solve the tasks of a particular production. Choosing a platform approach, customers and partners "Figures" significantly reduce the time for the introduction of services and technologies, accelerate the launch of new functionality and replicate the best practices within the company. The project implemented at SUEK-Kuzbass confirms the declared capabilities of the ZIIoT platform, - said Sergey Emelchenkov, General Director of Zyfra Group.
