2023 was in many ways unique: we re-introduced ourselves to market players, recognized products, learned to work with them and apply them in vivo. We have gathered a team of valuable experts - as of March 2024, more than 150 people work in the group of companies - and thanks to this we showed excellent financial results for the year. But now we are already looking to the future: according to researchers at Strategy Partners, the Russian IT market has the potential to grow to 7 trillion rubles by 2030. UltimaTech is developing at a faster pace. Therefore, my plan for the next few years is to build a company with a business volume of about 20 billion rubles, - concluded Pavel Rastopshin, General Director of UltimaTek Group of Companies.

The most efficient work in terms of revenue was demonstrated by the areas of custom development and digitalization of mechanical engineering and mining. Also in 2023, the UltimaTech team began projects to introduce corporate digital platforms and operational production management services at enterprises of representatives of the mining, metallurgical and energy industries.

Obtaining exclusive right to sell software products to Galactica Corporation

UltimaTech received the exclusive right to sell software products of the Galaxy Corporation. The companies agreed on this on April 15, 2024 as part of an agreement signed by Anton Malkov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Galactica Corporation and Pavel Rastopshin, General Director of UltimaTek Group of Companies.

The agreement implies the transfer to the industrial integrator UltimaTek of the exclusive right to sell Galaxy solutions of the ERP and EAM classes at enterprises in several industries of heavy industry: mineral chemistry and fertilizers, mining and metallurgy. According to the experts of the industrial integrator, the corporation's solutions ("Galaktika ERP" and "Galaktika EAM" are included in the register of the Ministry of Digital Industry of Russia) close almost the entire range of customer requests in the field of managing the main and supporting production processes.

To implement the terms of the agreement, UltimaTek will create a full-fledged competence center for software products "Galaxy," which will be able to provide a full range of consulting services from examining the IT landscape of the enterprise to designing and implementing digital products of the partner company.

File:Aquote1.png
Galactica has a key competence: the company is focused on automation of industrial enterprises and large distributed holdings. Enterprises are in no hurry to change working software without strict regulator requirements, but the life cycle of installed ERP and EAM systems will end in 3-5 years. Therefore, from our point of view, it is right to approach the process of replacing digital solutions now. And the industrial integrator UltimaTek is ready to accompany this process, since it is impossible to simply take and implement a boxed solution at production, "said Pavel Rastopshin, General Director of UltimaTek Group of Companies.
File:Aquote2.png

According to UltimaTek, a working group will be formed for April 2024, which will include representatives of Russian industrial enterprises. This is necessary in order to study in detail the range of key needs and, together with the vendor and customers, develop target configurations of ERP and EAM systems. In addition, the integrator will create a set of tools for providing information and consulting support on the participation of customers who are part of the working group in state support programs.

{{quote 'Galaxy Corporation is actively expanding cooperation with strategic partners, taking a new approach. Large integrators are given the exclusive right to promote and implement projects based on Galaxy Corporation solutions in certain industries. This step is very responsible and important for us. We are glad that partner companies, such as UltimaTek, are ready to take on such large-scale tasks, - said Anton Malkov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Galactica Corporation. }}

The financial terms of the transaction in the company did not disclose.

UltimaTek bought shares in Russian IT developers: 50% Datana and 49% Databriz

As part of UltimaTek Group of Companies, Datana will continue to develop products of the APC/MPC (SUUTP), RTO/SGDO classes and other solutions for the digitalization of industry based on artificial intelligence and machine learning. The company's products are designed to optimize the production processes of industrial enterprises through recommendations to personnel, which the system generates in real time based on an analysis of a whole set of parameters. As part of UltimaTek, Datana will maintain its presence in key industries - metallurgy and oil and gas. According to Pavel Rastopshin, General Director of UltimaTek Group of Companies, Datana is working to improve the efficiency of enterprises in industries complementary to the group of companies.

Digital advisers are already able to suggest how to adjust the temperature regime. Changing just one of these indicators can reduce the time of the technological cycle, which means that increasing the number of melts of the same steel is all about money that is hidden in imperfect production processes. To start saving them, you need to adjust the processes within the framework of an integrated approach to digitalization using modern software products, which are Datana solutions, - said the top manager.
File:Aquote2.png

Datana has extensive experience in the use of AI to solve metallurgy problems, said Vladimir Zakharov, CEO of the company. According to him, with the help of the strategic partner UltimaTek, Datana plans to develop products and find applications for solutions and experience in other industries.

Datana products are included in the register of Russian software.

UltimaTek's product portfolio will also be supplemented by Databriz's Business Management Platform line. It includes IT solutions necessary for integrated project management, which are an alternative to the products of foreign leaders who have left the Russian market - Microsoft Project and Oracle Primavera. Another element of the Databriz Platform is an artificial intelligence-based stop repair management system. All products are included in the register of domestic software. The company is also a resident of Skolkovo.

File:Aquote1.png
The investment partnership with Databriz will allow us to achieve more and develop products much faster and better. Which, in turn, meets the request of our clients - representatives of the Russian fuel and energy complex and a number of other industries, - added Pavel Rastopshin, General Director of UltimaTek Group of Companies.
File:Aquote2.png

As he explained, UltimaTek intends to introduce a business management platform as part of comprehensive digitalization projects. As of mid-July 2023, additional dynamic optimization modules are already being developed for it, the use of which, according to the top manager, will allow you to flexibly approach production management processes and quickly respond to changes.

UltimaTek also plans to participate in the creation, subsequent launch and scaling of new Databriz products and services. Also, as representatives of the group of companies clarified, UltimaTek reserves the right to subsequently redeem shares.

File:Aquote1.png
We are pleased to join the UltimaTech professional team and are ready to start implementing the plans of corporations and industrial enterprises in key industries to improve the efficiency of their equipment and personnel. Since UltimaTek and I have joint experience in implementing projects, I am sure that the created space of trust will contribute to our development for the benefit of technology development in Russia, - commented on the deal Mikhail Kudrinsky, CEO of Databriz.

System Integrator Transformation

Ultimatek, an expert developer of industrial software, is transforming into an integration business with a focus on Russian digital solutions to support import substitution of technologies in industry. The implementation of the new Ultimatek business strategy will be Pavel Rastopshin, who took over as CEO of the company in early 2023. This was reported to TAdviser by representatives of Ultimatek on February 20, 2023.

Pavel was previously the managing director of Zyfra Group of Companies, but in 2022 announced his desire to leave this post in order to launch his own business. In December 2022, a deal was held to buy Ultimatek by Pavel Rastopshin, the amount of which, as the company specified to the publication, in combination with the planned capital investments amounted to about 150 million rubles.

File:Aquote1.png
Due to the fact that the country's industry is forced to reorient itself to domestic software, the market of Russian digital solutions for it can grow by 500% in 5 years, and our company intends to occupy at least 20% of this market, "said the head of Ultimatek Pavel Rastopshin.

Ex-top manager of Zyfra Group launches a system integrator with a focus on import substitution

According to him, the decision to develop a business in the field of system integration based on Ultimatek with a focus on Zyfras products is due to the desire to support the strategy of the group of companies to transfer integration tasks to partner tracks. In particular, the plans for the near future are to increase the number of contracts for the implementation of the products of the Russian developer - the Zyfra Group of Companies - for the mining, metallurgical and machine-building industries.

Ultimatek has been working in partnership with the Digital Group of Zyfra since 2020. In cooperation, the companies have already implemented several integration projects in the mining, metallurgy and oil refining industries. In 2023, Ultimatek will focus on the distribution and implementation of key Zyfra products - the Quarry dispatching system for mining and the Dispatcher industrial equipment monitoring system for mechanical engineering and metalworking. The company will also implement the ZIIoT industrial data platform and custom development of industrial applications based on it. It is expected that this will bring about 1 billion rubles in revenue at the end of 2023 and will lead to the creation of an additional 70 workplaces. Ultimatek already has a number of realized contracts with EVRAZ, NLMK and MMK Ugol in its piggy bank.

File:Aquote1.png
"GK" Zyfra "has already reached the level of development when it becomes ineffective to build and implement customized solutions for customers exclusively on its own and can even slow down product development. Under the influence of the next wave of import substitution, we are accelerating its development in order to fully satisfy the demand for our products, facilitate and accelerate the transition of industrialists to domestic software, "said Sergei Emelchenkov, General Director of Zyfra Group of Companies.
File:Aquote2.png

In his opinion, Ultimatek, with its knowledge of the product specifics of Figures and a deep understanding of the state of affairs in industry, is able to help a group of companies work out the flooded requests for implementation and increase sales, as well as take on the role of a driver and stimulate other players in the system integration market to enter the pool of partners of the Digital Group Zyfra.

Ultimatek intends to enrich the solutions of "Figures" with complimentary products from other Russian vendors and implement infrastructure projects, thus closing the needs of industrial customers in the field of digitalization to the maximum. In particular, the company sees great prospects in such areas as the introduction of new generation APCS, the implementation of complex solutions of the PDM, CAPP class (from the English Computer-Aided Process Planning - an automated system for designing technical processes and issuing technological documentation) and MES, the deployment and maintenance of private communication networks.

As the head of Ultimatek Pavel Rastopshin added, the emergence of a strong system integrator on the market with a focus on Russian digital products will help Russian developers in building a healthy vendor business model, when a significant part of sales and implementations go through partners. In his opinion, this is necessary for the country's economy, since such a business model gives additional value in the form of service market growth and allows you to direct budgets for digitalization in the right direction.

File:Aquote1.png
"If there is a strong partner network, the vendor will be able to focus resources on the development of products without spraying them on a permanent caste, and customers will be able to receive high-quality integration services at market value with more efficient use of IT specialists than in inhouse teams," concluded Pavel Rastopshin.
