Acronis will provide a comprehensive protection of IT infrastructure of a command of Formula One of Sahara Force India

On April 3, 2018 the Acronis company and a command of Formula One Sahara Force India officially announced the beginning of technology partnership in the field of data protection. Within partnership of Acronis will provide solutions for data protection, including backup, disaster recovery, the software-defined data warehouse, synchronization and file sharing and also the system of protection against programs racketeers based on artificial intelligence technology. Both during the races and between gran at, data will be protected on production base of a command, the aerodynamic stand and on race circuits.

Within the agreement the command center of the Sahara Force India command in Silverstone, Great Britain, will be renamed into "Command center of Acronis".

"The command center of Acronis" will work during each race and each training run. As soon as the race car of VMJ11 appears on the route, the command center begins to accept data streams in real time, allowing engineers and specialists in the strategy of races to simulate different actions and to transfer forecasts based on the processed information back to the pilot. Besides, the command center is in permanent contact with the engineers who are directly on the route, helping them and providing the additional information during the races and between arrivals.

The Sahara Force India command collects hundreds of gigabytes of telemetry during the race and processes terabytes of information on the equipment and tests at the plant. Sahara Force India will take all advantage of technology of protection of Acronis Active Protection founded on artificial intelligence technologies and a heuristic method on detection of malware. In addition to automatic data protection and system files, the reliable mechanism of self-defense does not allow malefactors to damage the software of backup or to change contents of backup copies of files.
