"Salym Petroleum" IBS entrusted support of SAP S/4HANA

2020: The agreement on maintenance of a system of SAP

On September 2, 2020 IBS became the strategic partner in maintenance and development of recently implemented system of SAP in oil-extracting company "Salym Petroleum". The contract is signed for a period of five years and assumes not only user support, but also carrying out necessary works on development of functionality of a system.

"Salym Petroleum" looked for the partner ready to make the implemented SAP solution on maintenance right after start of a system. The oil company stopped the choice on IBS, being guided by its experiment on support of the large complete solutions SAP S/4HANA.

Within the IBS project advises users of a system from Moscow, Tyumen and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and also works with the normative reference information. Besides, the circuit of tasks includes timely diagnostics, elimination of non-staff situations and development of a corporate system of SAP that is important for the oil-extracting company.

Within June, 2020 the command of support of IBS studied a system and adopted necessary knowledge from an implementation team. On July 1, 2020 support in the main functional directions started. In parallel with it integration of processes and commands of support from "Salym Petroleum" and IBS as uniform competence center of SAP is carried out.

Start of this corporate system in operation is always a stress both for users, and for the company in general. The main objectives of support during this period we for ourselves see first of all ensuring continuity of business processes of the company without decrease in their efficiency and also creation for users of a comfortable operation mode in the conditions of the happening changes — Dmitry Ivitsky, the director of the Center of outsourcing of SAP in IBS emphasized.

Cooperation with IBS company will allow "Salym Petroleum" quickly and on a centralized basis to develop the system of SAP and also to get the qualified support.
