Samotlorneftegaz upgraded the system of measurement of quantity and oil quality figures

2017: Upgrade of systems of accounting of oil

On January 16, 2017 the Krug company announced completion of works on a software update of the systems of measurement of quantity and oil quality figures (SIKN) No. 544 and No. 578 on the delivery and acceptance point (DAP) of Samotlor (JSC Samotlorneftegaz).

Implementation of SIKN No. 544 and SIKN No. 578 is carried out on the PTK KRUG-2000 platform. The next upgrade of the software of SIKN is executed due to the need of reduction of a system in compliance to new requirements as the party which is handing over oil (JSC Samotlorneftegaz) and the party accepting oil (PJSC Transneft).

2015

At the end of 2015 works on installation of the modern version Russian SCADA KRUG-2000 and the Real-time System of Controllers (RTSC) for the systems of measurement of quantity and oil quality figures of SIKN No. 544 – "Northern fields" and SIKN No. 578 – "Samotlor field" of JSC Samotlorneftegaz, Nizhnevartovsk are performed.

JSC Samotlorneftegaz – one of the largest mining companies Rosneft which conducts development of the biggest Samotlor field in Russia.

SIKN No. 544 and SIKN No. 578 of JSC Samotlorneftegaz are implemented in 2003.

This software update allowed to perform start in trial operation of the systems of measurement of quantity and oil quality figures with an algorithm of calculation of density of oil on the existing regulating document P50.2.076-2010. The operating experience of the systems of measurement of quantity and oil quality figures of development of NPF KRUG confirms reliability of the Russian SCADA KRUG-2000® for implementation of the difficult tasks connected with commercial accounting of oil.
