The Saratov CSTO starts operation of a medical information system

System integrator - the CORUS Consulting company, implemented an implementation project of the Federal Standard Medical Information System (FSMIS) in Regional children's clinical hospital of the Saratov region.

Implementation Results

Now in hospital 200 automated jobs interacting with FTMIS are set. Clinical records and any other documentation it is created and stored in electronic form now, access for the doctor to it takes read seconds. It facilitates work of physicians and releases their time for more significant activity within medical process. All personnel of hospital already mastered work in a new information system.

Besides, FTMIS is integrated with the self-service terminal which is connected with the regional portal of public services: it is possible to select from the self-service terminal day and time of visit of this or that doctor, having specified the data. In registry of hospital it is necessary only to show the policy of compulsory health insurance which is automatically read out by FTMIS using the barcode scanner. It considerably simplifies making an appointment to the specialist and reduces queue in registry.

"Advantage of FTMIS over other medical information systems is that a system standard, universal and free – it can be unrolled in any medical institution, - Inna Ashenbrenner, the deputy CEO of Corus Consulting comments. – A system can be scaled on any quantity of jobs therefore the size of medical institution does not matter – it can be as the federal multi-profile center with hundreds of jobs, and district clinic with two-three computers in registry. In a system all standard processes therefore at implementation it is not necessary to make any large-scale completions are already configured".
