Cisco expanded communication opportunities of "future office" of Sberbank of the Russian Federation

The Sberbank of Russia is the largest bank in the Russian Federation and other CIS countries. The bank is the main creditor of the Russian economy, and his assets are a quarter of a banking system of the country. The management of bank shows openness to the new ideas and readiness for technology changes for the purpose of customer service quality improvement. Creation of "bank office of the future" of Sberbank – a bright example of that.

IT infrastructure of "bank department of the future" is created based on the latest technologies. Solutions of Cisco company were applied to ensuring work of a local network. The CROC company became the integrator which undertook implementation of a technical component of "future office".

For implementation of the innovation business scenario of interactive communication of clients of "future office" with experts of Sberbank group Cisco TelePresence terminals were used. The CTS-1000 terminal is installed directly in "bank department of the future", and two CTS-500 terminals are placed in workplaces of experts of the dealing center and credit department in other Sberbank branches. For their interaction on the Cisco server it is set to software of Cisco TelePresence Multipoint Switch that allows to carry out multipoint video conferences (with several participants). Thus, at "office of the future" of Sberbank clients can address specialists irrespective of their real location.

In the information purposes in "office of the future" the system of corporate broadcasting is implemented. Players of Cisco Digital Media Player bring corporate videos of Sberbank to posted in department plasma display panels. The video information gives all the best on the central server platform in advance and is lost according to the scenario which can be changed in an interactive mode. If the visitor wants to study independently new offers of bank, he can use the interactive booth connected to the IP telephony system by means of Cisco WebDialer software. Thanks to it clients can get additional advice about any products, without departing from the information booth.

To provide with communication systems of employees of the bank and visitors, the platform of unified communications Cisco was used. The Cisco Unified Communications Manager application giving enhanced capabilities to communication is already integrated into corporate network of Sberbank and allows to perform calls and to transfer video data to all branches and through any communication channels.

Also at "office of the future" users are given an opportunity of wireless Internet access, including for independent work with the system of Internet service Sberbank Onl@yn.

Implementation of this project allowed Sberbank to show the readiness for changes, active development, use of the innovative solutions for increase in customer satisfaction of bank. The solutions Cisco considerably expanded communication opportunities of employees and visitors of "future office", having become the platform for implementation of essentially new business scenarios allowing to save time.
