In NIIME the project management system based on "1C:PM Project management CORP" is implemented

On October 19, 2020 the ITLand Group company announced that in NIIME the project management system based on "1C:PM Project management CORP" is implemented.

JSC NIIME – the leading research center "NIIME Groups" as a part of Element Group. The NIIME Groups enterprises form uniform the complex, largest in Russia, on carrying out scientific and technology researches in the field of micro and a nanoelectronics, to development and production of semiconductor products. Now in NIIME more than 500 developer specialists of high qualification work.

JSC NIIME conducts scientific research and developmental works on federal programs and also initiative works at the expense of own means. Works are carried out with different Russian and foreign partners within programs for development of element base, for production of crystals of integrated microcircuits in the Foundry mode for the partner enterprises and also on development and mastering of series of integrated microcircuits and semiconductor devices.

Premises for use in JSC NIIME of a project management system became:

• the increased labor input of project management in connection with their increased quantity;
• accounting of the project progress in separate files;
• lack of uniform base with up-to-date operational data about projects;
• the increased labor input of receiving summary project information;
• lack of the uniform automated instruments of control over the implementation of terms of projects and project tasks.

Within the held tender the contractor selected ITLand company (Aytilend-Soft LLC). Presence at the company of experience of implementation of similar projects in other project organizations, the status of the developer of the software solution, joint with 1C Company, for project management and the offered approach to the solution of assigned tasks became the reasons.

The project management system in JSC NIIME was developed based on the software solution "1C:PM Project management CORP" and contains the following functional modules:

• Maintaining register of projects, their characteristics and parameters;
• Maintaining the register of "preprojects" (the possible, but not contracted yet projects), their characteristics and parameters;
• Management of project tasks (work breakdown structure, terms, cost);
• Accounting responsible for projects and contractors of project works;
• Different forms of representation of structure of works of projects (chart Ganta, tabular representation, network diagram);
• Management of the statuses and project phases, accounting of accomplishment of project tasks;
• Accounting of payments on projects;
• Monitoring of projects on key indicators;
• Report generation on projects.

Use of a project management system in JSC NIIME allowed to solve the following problems:

• creation of a common information space with data on "preprojects";
• creation of a common information space with up-to-date operational data about the executed projects;
• ensuring end-to-end control over the implementation of project works (terms responsible);
• automation of report generation about projects, their characteristics, the statuses of accomplishment and responsible;
• increase in efficiency and quality of information exchange between divisions of the organization;
• operational providing a managing personnel of the enterprise with up-to-date and reliable information about projects and their accomplishment;
• accumulation of history of project works for improvement of project technologies of the organization and selection of "best practices".

Number of users of a system: The 40th persons.

Within a system implementation project the ITLand company performed the following works:

• sale of the selected software products;
• adaptation of the standard solution under requirements of JSC NIIME (including development of private technical specifications and completion of the software solution according to them);
• setup of a system;
• training of staff of JSC NIIME in work in a system.
