Sebryakovtsement begins an implementation project of a management system for repairs

On November 6, 2013 the Galaktika company announced the beginning of an implementation project of the Galaktika EAM system at the JSC Sebryakovtsement plant.

Project Tasks

By 2013 the enterprise had tasks which solution was presented impossible without implementation of the automated control system for production assets of the enterprise. After carrying out the tender, the plant's management stopped the choice on the offer of Galaktika corporation as the most acceptable at the cost and terms, candidate solutions of assigned tasks. For project implementation the Galaktika EAM system is selected - it supports integration with the existing information system used at the JSC Sebryakovtsement plant that considerably will expand its functionality.

Main objectives:

• Reliability augmentation of operation of the equipment, reduction of number of failures and defects, reduction of number of unplanned idle times / breakdowns;
• Reducing costs of a MRO due to use of the most optimal maintenance strategies depending on category of importance and risks of separate items of equipment;
• Providing administrative, operation and repair personnel with the reliable and retrospective information necessary for decision making at work on TO and repair of the equipment;
• Accumulation of data on the equipment, its history and features of its operation and also for systematization, evident submission and the centralized storage of such data;
• Automation of obtaining analytical reports and standard documents in the taken forms;
• Performance improvement of work and reduction of staff costs;
• Reduction of excesses of warehouse stocks.

Project objective, first of all - automation and reorganization of all technical services. Centralization of all repair divisions in uniform service, transition to new, more optimal business processes, use of new diagnostic aids and opportunities of the modern information system "Galaxy EAM" as instrument of increase in accuracy of the information about technical condition of the equipment for the purpose of more operational acceptance of technical solutions according to the approved regulations.

Project Plans

Carrying out certification of all park of the equipment and the regulatory base of a MRO is planned. Therefore it is necessary to carry out audit of all production assets, to describe all necessary technical characteristics, standards of accomplishment of procedural and standard work types, regulations of labor costs and use of materials. All base of the equipment and standards will be supported in relevant statuses by users of a system.
