The company of the chemical industry of Ukraine – Severodonetsky ORGHIM Ltd – since July 1, 2010 began system implementation of electronic document management and interaction management of DIRECTUM. Project works are carried out by specialists of LAN SERVIS company.
The field of activity of Severodonetsky ORGHIM Ltd includes a complex of engineering services in a technology, heat power, electrical equipment, the instrumentation and automated control systems, APCS systems, industrial ventilation and aspiration, water treatment and water purification and also a technical guidance and participation in preparatory and commissioning, to commissioning of objects chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas processing and other industries.
Since 1996 Severodonetsk ORGHIM took part in construction and reconstruction more than 60 objects of oil and chemical industry of Ukraine, the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania. In the different directions works in Belarus, Cuba, Serbia, India and other countries are conducted. The staff of the enterprise is regularly increased and at the moment makes about 1000 people.
System implementation began on July 1, 2010, delivery of the software product and project works are carried out by the Ukrainian partner of DIRECTUM – LAN SERVIS company. All project is divided into several large-scale stages. During the first stage the office, work with organizational and administrative documentation and project document flow will be automated. In particular, processes of registration of the entering and outgoing correspondence, maintaining the nomenclature of affairs and magazines of registration, work with memos will pass into an electronic form. Within automation of project document flow specialists of "LAN SERVIS" will carry out integration of DIRECTUM with Primavera project management system. Using a set of integration tools DIRECTUM Integration Toolset, all data from the Primavera system will be automatically synchronized with the corresponding reference books of DIRECTUM. It will allow to make more effectively interaction of responsibles for all project lifecycle.
Thus, use of functionality of DIRECTUM implemented during the first stage will allow to gain notable economic and managerial effect. All data necessary for employees for joint work will be available in unified information environment therefore the number of their paper copies will decrease, losses of documents will be excluded, information search for the analysis and also for preparation for different checks will accelerate.
End of the first stage is planned for fall of 2010. By this time automation will cover work of 50 employees of project office.
At the subsequent stages integration of DIRECTUM into the solutions automating calculation of estimates, technical document flow and accounting will be implemented. For increase in performing discipline of staff of Severodonetsky ORGHIM Ltd and also more effective planning, the module "Management of Performance Indicators" will be implemented. The management of the enterprise will be able quickly to obtain analytical information on efficiency of key business processes by specific divisions, employees, categories of documents. The obtained quantitative data about accomplishment of plans and instructions and also degrees of a delay of certain tasks will become the basis for acceptance of effective management decisions
Further representatives of the company will be able to work in DIRECTUM, using additional functionality - the server of mobile and web access. With its help electronic document management will include employees who work far off in different places in the world. It is planned that at the subsequent stages the number of the employees who are at the same time working in a system will reach 150-200 people.
