WMS 1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse it is unrolled in the warehouses Shintopa

WMS "1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 3.0" it is unrolled in 3 stationary and 5 mobile workplaces. Work of a warehouse became transparent and managed. The project is executed in 3 months.

The main warehouse "Shintop" servicing shops of the Far East region is in Vladivostok. The warehouse in which rack and floor storage of buses, disks, autocosmetics and auto accessories is organized is located in the two-storeyed building with a total area about 6500 sq.m., directly the warehouse of autogoods occupies 1500 sq.m. The product line reaches 20,000 names of goods from which more than 3,000 – active positions.

The aspiration to optimize work of a warehouse, to provide retail outlets with the goods, completely ready to sale, marked by labels with the barcode and translated into Russian by the name, to organize extremely accurate accounting and entering into the database of the goods which are stored in a warehouse led the management Shintop to the decision on implementation of WMS – a specialized warehouse management system. For preserving of a common information space of the company which main sections of activity were already automated based on the programs "1C: Enterprise" the project of automation of a warehouse was going to be executed using a system on the same technology platform. Broad functionality and also the number of successful implementations became basic reasons of the choice "to 1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 3.0" the instrument of automation, and her developer of AXELOT company – the contractor of the project.

Project works started at the end of May, 2010; in 3 months the automated control system for a warehouse was put into operation. Specialists of AXELOT together with representatives Shintop during the project developed the scheme of use of WMS corresponding to features of business processes of the customer, entered necessary completions to the standard software product, prepared a warehouse for start of a system, having carried out inventory of an actual trade inventory, organized personnel training of a warehouse to work with WMS. On project deliverables it is automated 3 stationary workplaces and 5 radio data collection terminals of Motorola, mobile with connection.

"1C logistics: Management of warehouse 3.0" manages the main transactions of a warehouse of autogoods Shintop: acceptance, placement, selection, packaging, shipment, movement and inventory are automated; all transactions are executed using radio terminals. The printability of labels of a load with indication of an order number, the partner, the address and a delivery mode and also printing of sheets of structure of a load is implemented. Tasks for printing arrive from radio data collection terminals automatically, in process of packaging transaction accomplishment.

Implementation "1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 3.0" promoted reduction of an assembly time of the order and considerable reduction of a resort. Influence of a human factor on quality and speed of execution of operations is minimized; besides, fixing in WMS of the contractor of each transaction gives enough data for development of an effective system of motivation of personnel. Use of radio data collection terminals allowed a warehouse to refuse the controller's position: now its functions are performed by the packer.
