"Shopping mall-Santel" upgrades a trade management system

1C Company: The first BIT completed the project on optimization of the software in Shopping Mall-Santel LLC, implementation of upgraded version "1C: Trade Management 8", the press service of the company reported on July 30, 2013.

Project Background

Activity of the enterprise is automated earlier. As the key instrument of management served the basic version "1C: Trade Management 8". With expansion of business and opening of additional outlets there was a need to create a common information space for consolidation of data. It would simplify the analysis of indicators and allowed to estimate profitability of separate shops and the company in general.

The project was charged to specialists of 1C Company: The first BIT. They executed upgrade of the 1C: Trade Management 8 program from the basic version on the version of the Prof.

Project Progress

In 3 retail stores updating of the 1C: Trade Management 8 program on more modern version "1C: Trade Management 8 PROF" is executed. It gave additional opportunities in implementation of a trading activity. Managerial data from geographically distributed points it is consolidated in one base. It simplifies processing of data and allows the management to create a uniform, objective picture of business.

As a result of upgrade of a system new opportunities appeared:

• accounting on several shops in one information base;
• effective management of a warehouse and orders thanks to the Remote Warehouse and Order management web applications;
• several users can work with one information base at the same time;
• the standard configuration can be changed according to individual user requirements;
• work as method the client-server is supported;
• connection of an electronic retail store equipment is supported.
