2011: Improved process-oriented management tools
A project was carried out to optimize the budgeting system for the coal and energy segments. Within the framework of the project, an approach was developed that made it possible to determine SUEK's priority development paths in the field of operational efficiency. The focus of the development is on improving the tools of process-oriented management (Activity Based Costing) and comparative analysis (Benchmarking). To meet this important challenge, we drew on international expertise and invited experts in the mining sector from Australia's Oyster Consulting to participate in the project.
2010: Implementation of the budgeting system at Kuzbassenergo and Yenisei TGC
A project was carried out to prepare a methodology and implement a budgeting system at the enterprises of Kuzbassenergo and Yenisei TGC on the basis of the SAP BI IP module for building a single information space for planning and analyzing plan and actual data, increasing the planning horizon to 3 years and implementing an 18-month rolling forecast.

Development of the budgeting system
Within the framework of the project for the development of the budgeting system in the coal segment, the following was completed:
- Coordination of the budget model with a single chart of accounts,
- Implementation of cost accounting by activities in budgeting,
- Automation of tax planning,
- Automate asset planning based on SAP solutions.
Implementation of Enterprise Management System
As part of project SUEK ERP business processes the optimization of the company and implementation enterprise management systems SAP ERP , a system of consolidation and sequestration of operational BDDS was built on the basis. Within the framework of the project, the following were completed:
- Development of methodological documents supporting the process of consolidation of RDDS (including description of the business process of consolidation of RDDS, methods of reconciliation of GC (intra-group transactions) and balancing, regulation of consolidation of RDDS),
- Technical implementation of consolidation and sequestration algorithms,
- Implementation of the procedure by means of workflow and reporting in SAP BEx,
- Implementation of data retraction streams.
