SUEK will organize reserve structure of VPN

Rostelecom implemented the project on the organization of a reserve virtual private network (IP VPN (L3)) for the enterprises by "Siberian Coal Energy Company" (SCEC), the press service of operator reported on August 26, 2013.

Project Progress

The company organized channels of capacity to 20 Mbps, having integrated objects of SUEK in Moscow, Nakhodka, Vladivostok, uts. Lipovtsa (Primorsky Krai) and item Sagan-Nour (Buryatia). On some remote sections the new fiber-optic communication lines necessary for implementation of this project are laid.

Sergey Ilyin, the head of department of IT infrastructure of JSC SUEK, noted: "The corporate IP VPN data network allows the staff of the company to use corporate VoIP-telephony, a video conferencing between studios in Moscow, Vladivostok, Sagan-Nur and different office applications. We selected Rostelecom as the contractor on the organization of reserve VPN network as this company has wide geography of presence across Russia and is capable to organize telecom infrastructure to our enterprises in any region of the country, having offered at the same time attractive rates".
