2021: Improving the reliability and visibility of energy facilities

On April 21, 2021, RTSoft announced the implementation of a project to increase the reliability and observability of energy facilities for MEAs in Siberia.

In total, with the participation of RTSoft, 16 energy facilities were automated.

This project lasted 2.5 years.

The key goals of the PNiN program: to increase the number of television signals and television measurements received in modern protocols from each substation and to ensure the transfer of information to the dispatch centers of RDU JSC "SO UES" and PJSC "FGC UES."

To achieve these goals, it was necessary to establish communication channels and install additional equipment. This allowed PJSC "FSK UES" to monitor the connection of equipment, the development of its resource and other parameters and thereby increase the reliability of energy supply to all organizations. JI UES JSC uses the received information on the object observation for correct assessment and refinement of the network state and for more accurate calculation modes.

Specialists of RTSoft and subcontractors controlled by the company performed the whole range of works under the contract, namely:

  • survey of automation facilities;
  • development of working documentation;
  • approval of the RD with the subdivisions of JSC "SO UES" and PJSC "FGC UES" in the scope determined by the end customer;
  • delivery of telemechanics equipment - 87 CAS CAS Smart-SPRECON cabinets manufactured by RTSoft JSC;
  • supply of communication equipment;
  • construction, installation and commissioning works;
  • metrological support of SSPI, including verification of current transformers and voltage transformers at all objects of the title (total 660 units);
  • acceptance tests of CAS MCS and communication systems, including integrated tests with regard to the receiving party of the CSC and RDU;
  • organization of training of specialists of MEAs of Siberia.

The result of the project was the commissioning of the supplied equipment at the power facilities of JSC "SO UES" and PJSC "FGC UES" on all customer standards without comments and shortcomings.

Geography of automation facilities: Omsk region, Kuzbass, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Republic of Khakassia, Trans-Baikal Territory.

Substations 220 kV: "Darasun," "Kuanda," "Lesnaya," "Tuim," "Abakan-district," "Sora," "Turan," "Minusinskaya-ostrnaya," "Shushenskaya-ostrnaya," "Zagorodnaya," "Uzhevskaya" and "Abalakovskaya"; substation 500 kV: Novokuznetskaya and Abakanskaya.

The average time for setting up one facility, including individual and complex equipment tests, as well as putting the facility into industrial operation without comments: ~ 1 person/month.

During the implementation of this project, RTSoft specialists had to solve extraordinary and complex tasks, such as adjusting the project, passing a non-state examination of the technical and estimated part of the design documentation, changing technical solutions, refining signal switching schemes in cabinets at the facilities, implementing diagnostics and others.
