The project is implemented by the Government of the Ulyanovsk region. Development of 3D GIS is performed on the basis of the regional target program "Development of Information Society, Use of Information and Communication Technologies, Quality Improvement of the Public (Municipal) Services in the Ulyanovsk Region in 2010-2012".
Project objective – creation of the geoinformation database representing the integrated information and program interactive database for a computer including the two-dimensional and three-dimensional space images fotorealistichno transferred by means of computer simulation and also properly the connected databases of cartographic, cadastral, register and other space and infrastructure information.
