Situational center Russian Railway (VideoMost SDK)

The project task consisted in creation of the all-Russian Situational Center (SC) capable to uninterruptedly control a situation on all objects of the Russian Railway and to react quickly to the arisen emergency situations. In the uniform center it is necessary to collect operational information from places and to address competent specialists for timely solving of tasks. The major requirement was consolidation of all types of connection in real time.

Thanks to implementation of the software product for the organization of multipoint video conferences VideoMost it became possible to integrate terminal equipment for video surveillance with personal computers, mobile and normal phones, hardware terminals of VIDEOCONFERENCING communication. VideoMost was integrated into the existing infrastructure and allowed to organize operational video meetings with simultaneous display of all participants and images from surveillance cameras. Thus, VideoMost provided a possibility of operational connection of all interested staff of the company from any place and by means of any device for interactive interaction and immediate reaction in case of emergency situations.

VideoMost works both on the selected networks, and on the public Internet, doing possible operational participation in a conference without registration in a system. Thanks to it it is possible to involve in discussion of any expert, and support of the SIP protocol allows to cause in a conference of users of plain old telephone service, stationary or mobile.
