SmartSwitch is implemented in the Greek company Interbanking Systems

BPC Bank Technologies, the leading supplier of payment solutions for the world financial industry, Greece announces project completion on the implementing solution SmartSwitch in Interbanking Systems (DIAS) company. The contract was signed with the assistance of B&R Outsourcing Services S.A., the Greek partner of BPC Bank Technologies.

The decision on replacement of the existing platform was made in communication with its mismatch to production requirements of DIAS company: the tough configuration did not provide timely introduction of necessary changes, significantly limited business development. In the conditions of the dynamic growth of the market of e-commerce of Greece of DIAS the modern payment solution allowing to expand considerably a range of services, provided by the Company to the clients was required. The solution of BPC was selected according to the results of the tender in which several international companies took part.

DIAS renders processing services to most banks of Greece. 20 participating organizations having network of 7400 ATMs in the territory of the whole country are a part of this Interbank Consortium. DIAS services transaction flows in network of POS terminals of the offices of tax administration of the Ministry of Finance of Greece intended for implementation of tax payments of citizens using the bank cards emitted by the Greek banks.

The solution SmartSwitch supports online interfaces with external systems, provides routing of authorization data and host-to-host connections to banking systems and also allows to interact with service providers of payment systems. Thanks to availability of the built-in interfaces for the most widespread types of ATMs and payment terminals, the international and regional payment networks, a system easily adapts to the existing client's infrastructure. The perfect architecture of SmartSwitch allowed DIAS to perform migration from a former system less than for half a year.
