News Feed Availability for Mobile Auction Users
On October 21, 2022, the Rainbow Smile company announced that from mid-October 2022, a news feed became available to users of the Mobile Auction. This transformation is an important component of the formation of a single and convenient information field for all 10,000 employees of the federal Rainbow Smile network.
Improvements to the system were carried out by the retailer's divisions in just two months. Previously, notifications for employees in the "Mobile Auction" appeared in the modal window when logging in. After its closure, it was not always possible to read the information again. Now the news is posted on the start page of the platform, so that employees will not miss an important notification for them and will always be able to familiarize themselves with it again. In this section, retail and warehouse staff will learn about the transfer of wages opened by the chain's stores, the preparation of a vacation schedule and other current changes.
It is important for a large, people-centric company to implement a full corporate system to share information that will cover the entire team. Therefore, the company is constantly improving the "Mobile Auction," relying on the opposite communication from employees. On the same basis, the company is developing the functionality for applicants, created recently, commented on the HR Director of the Rainbow Smile network, Irina Gusakova.

The developers plan to add the ability to like and comment on posts to the Mobile Auction. Also in early November 2022, a temporary New Year section will appear in the system. In it, users will receive information about the date and place of receiving corporate gifts for themselves and their children. And store directors will be able to use this section to track the number of presents required for issuance and already received by mobile employees. Thus, the retailer will significantly simplify the process of distributing and presenting gifts.
Digitalization of the applicant's path in the "Mobile Auction"
The federal drogery chain Smile of the Rainbow has become the company that has implemented the applicant's digital path in the WFM system. Since July 28, a special function has become available to applicants for vacancies in retail stores in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region - the home region of the network. The company announced this on August 1, 2022.
Now potential employees can go through all the main stages of employment online, except for the trial day. To do this, follow the link to "Mobile Auction" from the description of a vacancy on a work site or Telegram bot. All further interaction with the company, including the provision of documents for registration for work, will be carried out in the human resources system. Thus, the applicant does not need to additionally call or exchange emails with recruiters, and all the information he needs will come as quickly as possible and be in one place.

The approval of this functionality will last 2 months, after which the company will study the feedback from applicants and network specialists. If necessary, the solution will be improved, and in September it is planned to scale up to the entire network.
