In Smolensk, the first stage of the project for the introduction of smart city solutions on the basis of an integrated digital platform developed by Rosatom Infrastructure Solutions, which announced this on June 4, 2024, has been completed. Digital technologies will help in the development of a comfortable and safe digital environment for citizens. Access to the services of "Smart Smolensk" is carried out through the portal and mobile application.

The development of direct feedback channels is aimed at improving the lives of citizens. "Smart City" provides additional opportunities for this. If there is a hole on the road, the lantern does not burn, the garbage is not removed - a resident using a smartphone reports a problem, and it immediately goes to work. Already in June 2024, although the platform has just been launched, more than three hundred calls have been made. That is, we understand what you need to pay attention to first. But the main thing is that we strive to make our city even better, more comfortable and safer. You can't do without reliable digital tools here, - said Alexander Novikov, head of the city of Smolensk.

The project will allow residents to initiate activities, report problems, take part in the development of the territory, and administration employees will have the opportunity to better and quickly consider citizens' appeals. As of June 2024, the services "Residents' Messages," "Polling and Voting," "City Cleaning," etc., have been deployed. During the implementation, the necessary integration was carried out, data sources were identified and recorded, parameters, role user permissions were set up, and authorized employees were trained.

Our solutions help a resident to become a full-fledged participant in urban life. A resident has the opportunity to influence the development of the city - through voting, polls, feedback systems. Thus, the relationship between residents and the authorities becomes more constructive, bilateral interaction takes place.
