The "smart" atom city of Sarov implements services for physically disabled people

2020: Filling of the module "Ensuring Mobility"

The "smart" atom city of Sarov became one of the first Russian cities with electronic services for physically disabled people. On August 4, 2020 the company "Rusat Infrastructure solutions" reported about it.

On the Smart City platform in Sarov the module – Ensuring Mobility began to be filled with information. It is intended for display on the card of the objects and sections of the city equipped by rules of the available environment: ramps, congresses, buttons, sound signals, tactile surfaces, etc. Availability of objects and sidewalks of the city it (completely available, conditionally available, unavailable) it is marked in the color. It will allow people to make with restriction of opportunities on health to itself a route for independent visit of organizations or to define on what sections they will need the help. Here using the Complain button inhabitants can report about the problems connected with restriction of mobility.

The module is created at the request of city Society of disabled people. It is complemented with information, by the end of month will start working to the full extent.

The physically disabled person can before an exit from the house completely give a task a route – to define what buses, what sidewalks suit it. Buses should be with a low floor; the sidewalks comfortable for movement of a carriage, on the card are designated in green color, – Valery Semikov, the chairman of city society of disabled people says. – Here I see where on what transition there are a congress and convenient access where there is a tactile surface where is not present. Information will be gradually updated. For example, it is in the future going to put signs of parking for machines of physically disabled people.

The Smart City platform developed by the company "Rusat Infrastructure solutions" (RIR, is included into Rosatom), the third year works in Sarov. For the beginning of August, 2020 it includes more than 40 digital services, their structure is updated all the time.
