SoftCall completed transfer of IT infrastructure in a cloud

On May 14, 2015 the Free Technologies company announced completion of works in the project of transfer of infrastructure of contact center SoftCall on the Azurus platform of Cloud Computing company.

Project Tasks

The outsourcing contact center of SoftCall was faced by a task - to construct scalable and reliable infrastructure. The equipment for functioning of contact center was placed in data center on the rented servers:

• software switch,
• IP PBX,
• CRM,
• monitoring system.

Eventually projects became more, and resources of local jobs are not enough for information processing.

"Development and support of solutions for call centers on the basis of physical servers — too difficult and requiring considerable finance costs task — Tatyana Varina, the CEO of SoftCall company told. — Buy the park enough powerful computers, purchase client licenses of Windows, develop local the Active Directory and support all jobs was not in development plans for the company. Advantage of use of the Azurus platform of Cloud Computing company is that full-fledged cloud infrastructure is provided in the Russian Federation at the prices many times less foreign analogs and allows to manage independently services using Windows Azure Pack".

SoftCall selected a cloud platform being guided by criteria:

• available initial investments,
• much smaller volume of work on support of infrastructure,
• opportunity for work of operators from different places.

Project Progress

For deployment of infrastructure on the Azurus platform from Oblakoteka selected several Windows Server 2012 R2 virtual machines with roles:

• RD gateway and RD-web gateway

• AD controller, file server, and server of distribution of the RDP connections (RD Connection Broker)

• Directly RD-Host servicing sessions of users.

Terminal licenses were leased in Oblakoteka. It is the initial minimum scheme for RDS which is very well scaled. For May 14, 2015 a system operates normally at the maximum loading of leased resources.

Project Results
