2021: Implementation of WFM Solution for Personnel Load Planning
On June 10, 2021, it became known that KORUS Consulting created a WFM solution for planning the loading of personnel in the SOKOLOV jewelry network.
As explained, with the help of the Verme WFM system, the network of jewelry stores will be able to correctly calculate the load of staff in all SOKOLOV stores and thereby support the rapid growth of the retailer's offline stores.
Despite the unstable market situation, one of the Russian jewelry markets SOKOLOV implements a strategy for opening outlets. Since the beginning of autumn 2020, the number of retailer stores has more than doubled and will continue to increase in the near future. For optimal sales growth in SOKOLOV stores, a solution was required to determine the required amount of flexible personnel planning at each of the sales points.
After a thorough analysis of the market for WFM systems, SOKOLOV opted for the Verme platform, an automated solution for planning staff time in retail networks. The experience of using Verme WFM in a number of Russian retail chains and advanced technology algorithms of the platform have become the rationale for this choice.
To implement the project, the KORUS Consulting team, an official partner of Verme, was invited to SOKOLOV. As part of the project, system integrator specialists built a target solution for personnel planning, which was deployed in 120 stores. The solution was created based on existing practices for calculating personnel requirements and using the standard Verme WFM functionality.
The basic functionality includes the calculation of personnel requirements based on the sales plan and traffic forecast. In the future, it is planned to replicate the solution to all existing SOKOLOV stores, as well as expand the functionality for configuring the shift exchange and additional reporting forms.
The retailer needs to take into account a large number of requirements when planning personnel, even when we are talking about planning schedules for a small number of employees. On the one hand, these are the business indicators of the store - the sales plan, customer traffic, the average check, the dynamics of the change in the average check - on the other hand, the requirements of the legislation regarding the shift schedule. Plus, there are still wishes of employees regarding their availability. Taking into account the entire set of constraints and parameters that affect the final work schedule is so large that it is almost impossible to manually build and control the correct schedule. The automated WFM system allows you to centralize the process and transparently show how much the employee really worked. said Sergey Kuznetsov, head of the WFM department of analytical solutions of KORUS Consulting Group of Companies |
Choosing Verme's WFM solution and inviting KORUS Consulting experts with the necessary competence, we quickly got a system that will support the opening of our stores without failures. said Alexey Gordeev, Head of SOKOLOV Sales Support |
For jewelry stores, sales personnel are crucial. It is on the basis of the quality of advice from the seller that the buyer makes the final decision on the choice of product. Therefore, it is important that employees are involved and motivated. We are confident that ensuring a convenient schedule is one of the key factors of staff satisfaction, which allows us to ensure a positive attitude and immersion in work. The implemented solution confirms the hypothesis - the dynamics of NPS metrics in full satisfies us. shared by Alexey Karev, SOKOLOV Director to marketing |
