In VBRR Solar inCode for control of security of mobile bank is implemented

The Solar Security company, the developer of products and services for target monitoring and operational management of information security, provided in the spring of 2017 to "Russian Regional Development Bank" the solution Solar inCode for quality control of the code of the services of remote customer service used in bank.

The bank uses Solar inCode for check of level of security of banking mobile application. Mobile banking — one of potentially most vulnerable services in activity of credit institutions. The majority of the malware created for plunder of money from bank accounts of clients of banks try to operate vulnerabilities in mobile applications of credit institutions. One more serious risk — introduction of tabs in mobile software at a development stage.

To secure itself and the clients against these threats, the bank made the decision on use of instruments of quality control of the code, having made a choice for benefit of Solar inCode — the Russian solution for check of security of applications on existence of vulnerabilities and not declared opportunities.

According to Solar Security, Solar inCode is convenient that it allows to carry out a fast inspection of security of applications without long preset tunings and training of work with a product. Scanning of the application is started in two clicks, upon termination of check of Solar inCode creates the report on the found vulnerabilities and makes detailed recommendations about their elimination. The bank selected a cloud delivery pattern of Solar inCode that allowed to start the project in short terms. The Jet Infosystems company acted as the partner in the project.
