Solutions of Acronis for disaster recovery and data protection were purchased "by MAYaK Corporation in May, 2011 for protection of physical servers and workstations. Server versions of Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 are installed on the mail server for protection of the Microsoft Exchange database and also on the server of terminals which also services database 1C. The version of Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 for workstations protects computers of accountants of the enterprise.

"Accounting computers contain a set of settings, on them a huge number of clients for interaction with banks therefore time spent for recovery of such station from scratch can be very big is set — the system administrator "tells MAYaK Corporations Roman Vigovsky. — For this reason we needed the solution which could be to do complete backup of system disks of accounting computers and to quickly recover their working capacity. We paid attention to solutions of Acronis as experience of use of similar solutions shows what for our market of a qualitative alternative of Acronis just is not present".
"The MAYaK corporation considers the possibility of expansion of number of licenses of Acronis due to acquisition of the solution Universal Restore which allows to recover quickly working system on a new computer hardware. "It is impossible to exclude a case when the workstation can just burn down, and on replacement there will be no identical machine therefore it would be interesting to us to try the Universal Restore function" — Roman Vigovsky notes.
