The SPbSU equips the conference hall of the academic council with the system of multimedia

On September 17, 2014 the LANIT Northwest company announced an implementation project of a complex of the multimedia systems in the conference hall of the academic council of St. Petersburg State University.

Project Tasks

Often performances at meetings of the academic council of SPbSU are followed by demonstration of audiovisual information that requires existence various video and the conference equipment.

Project Progress

Specialists "LANIT the Northwest" upgraded the available complex devices, designed and implemented the project of integration of the multimedia equipment of the hall into a single system of management.

Project Results

The hardware-software complex created on the platform of the equipment of AMXI (management system), Polycom (video conferencing) and Samsung (means of display) is calculated on the individual project. LCD panels in the center of a table of meetings act as a fixed asset of information display. They synchronously transmit a signal from one source.

The place of the speaker is equipped with the tribune supplied with the personal computer connected to a multimedia system. The speaker can use the personal notebook, having connected it to a system. Over a tribune the LCD panel displaying information content of a source is set.

Comfortable use of the complex equipment is provided to participants, it is possible to manage multi-function printers using one touchpad. It allows to hold events at absolutely new level.

One of indisputable advantages of a system – connection of the touchpad to a management system on a wireless network of Wi-fi. It is possible to manage all complex of technical means from any point of the conference hall. The software has the user-friendly and clear interface allowing even to the novice user to seize quickly necessary skills.
